The dorado (golden) is named for its characteristic orange-yellow color.
Today, many fly fishermen fish the dorado when trout season closes. For others the dorado is the preferred choice in fly fishing.

In fact, more and more Americans are being drawn to Argentina to participate in this exciting and new challenge. As the dorado is a fighter, it can be more enjoyable than fishing trout. Don’t be surprised if you finish the day with your hands and arms pleasantly exhausted.
